Re-Imagined Project

OK, Here's the real reimagined project I'm working on. The other one was a test drive, I guess but this is the real thing! Obviously not totally done, but I like it much more than the other one.

So, this is really rough because I actually have been working on a different piece but since I forgot my computer, I'm throwing this up for now to get out the main idea of what I'm doing.

Re-Imagine This!

This is a picture of a girl holding a hammer in front of glass...not that I need to explain that but anyways, I think I want this picture to be re-imagined using fine art and shadows and lighting, because I really struggle with being able to draw shadows. I think the direction this could go in would be taking one element (hammer, broken glass, etc.) from the picture and really focusing in on that. Maybe isolating the hammer in a totally new theme, such as (just to be super cliche) a person remodeling a house or something, or the glass being re-imagined in an outdoor setting...The only requirement I guess I want to emphasize is taking this in the direction of fine art.

Over break, I went and took pictures of my little brother and Bekah's little sisters...this is one of my favorite pictures that I edited to have selective color, because I felt like the background was kind of distracting and it is such a beautiful picture of Abby, I wanted the focus to be on her.
